Designing The Perfect Comedy Club

The comedy club. Perhaps no other words in the English Language fill a comic with such a strange mixture of excitement and dread. Comedy clubs are where the people are, the people who have paid to have you make them laugh. They are also the place of annoying owners, broken mic stands, uncomfortable greenrooms, and drunk hecklers. This week, we try and imagine what the perfect comedy club would look like. Come along with us, to the land of imagination! (The land of imagination has a two-drink minimum).

Plus! Dustin in prison! No more bad comedy club names! And I would pay anything to see The Coen Brother’s “Garfield”.

Re: The comic out in California you were trying to think of: was it Jon Lovitz?

Yeah, that was it! I feel like there is another one too, but probably I am just crazy.
