The Future Of Comedy

by The Comedy Nerds on February 1, 2010

future“The great red-head hawk shall be killed and eaten by the hideous big-chinned sloth, while in a far off kingdom the cantankerous otter shall laugh. Also, Kimmel’s show will be pretty funny for a week and a half.”Nostradamus 1561

The future! No one knows what will happen in the future, but this week Dan, Dustin and guest Nick Turner give it a shot, as we try to guess what the future of comedy will be, and read some predictions from our listening audience. Are we right? Are we way off? If you are reading this in the year 2037 leave us a comment and let us know how we did. FROM THE FUTURE!!! (currently your present).

I’ma kill Nick Turner when I return from Los Angeles, DC, and Israel, all three of which I am currently simultaneously in.

And for the record, I’m the one who mentioned Don Glover. But I forgot Mulaney; good catch.

I’ve had a sudden influx of youtube subscribers, like 30 in the past three days, is this the fabled Comedy Nerds effect I’ve heard so much about? Or the result of my heading down to the North Carolina Comedy Arts fest next week? I demand to know.
