Dave Hill & Low Energy Comedy

by The Comedy Nerds on February 8, 2010

Dave HillAll right, let’s all take it down a notch. This week we welcome rising comedy star Dave Hill to talk about low energy comedy. It takes a special kind of talent to pull off low energy comedy, and Dave is a master at it. Whether on this own talk show, the Dave Hill Explosion or his TV show “King of Miami” he keeps the audience hanging on his every carefully chosen word. Join us as we delve into the world of keeping it down low while..keeping the laughs…high? Man, these things are hard to write sometimes.

Plus! Ramen noodles! Merv Griffin! Dick Cavett! And everyone on this show was just nominated for the highly prestigous ECNY awards! Some of us in more than one catergory, but who’s counting? (I am. Very closely.) There’s a lot going on in this episode, you better get to it!

I am one of those fans who discovered Dave Hill via the Twitter, and completely embrace the satirical nature of his comedy.

My day wouldn’t be complete without a “it is going okay” post, and that is a fact.

I’m looking forward to seeing him win one or both ECNY awards! He deserves it!

Congratulations on the ECNY nomination! You guys definitely deserve the nod. (And Dustin, this is why you should stop promoting guests to cohosts all the time. Do you really want to share one of these with Nick Turner?)
