Oh I forgot to mention Ed Helms. Good point Vinnie, he's amazing and will continue to be amazing. Also he went to Oberlin (like me), and sang in the Obertones (like me), and plays the banjo (like me), so my hope is that he will become a superstar and then one night he'll go into a terrible (but recoverable) coma and they'll be like "Oh dear god it's 30 minutes to air, who can fill his shoes?" and then, after stumbling upon this post in a desperate search, they'll see how much like him I am on paper, they'll call me up and ask if there's anything I can do to help them in their time of need, then I'll make a few suggestions and long story short they'll probably hire Steve Carell.

I'm hoping that Conon and Leno head off to the old school hills of comedy in the proverbial sky (proverbial people, i.e., not dead just elsewhere) and leave room for someone new and, just maybe, unpredictable (hope springs eternal).

I believe Maria Bamford could pull off a half-way decent sitcom (so hopefully she'll get the call). Shane Mauss has the right look but I can't see him holding the show for long.

I don't care if it's good or bad I just WANT an Arrested Development movie (and, yes, it has a strong potential for suck, but as I said I don't care I WANT it).

And Colbert has got to get himself appointed to something. Not elected, but appointed as official goodwill ambassador of something (the sort of appointment that gets you no pay but you can put it on a business card).

Again, I can only hope that Louie CK's Louie will do awesomely, but the Kid's in the Hall's Death Come to Town and Ghostbusters 3 are totally going to suck (and yet I will still go see them).

1)late night comedy landscape will look like it does now, except worse.
Conan will have a show or retired to a small island shaped like his hair.
Leno will be on at 11:30 like he was before, but not as good. It's all relative.
Maybe we will have fresh blood in the late night comedy world.

2)My wish for on the verge comic that will achieve superstardom this year is Maria Bamford.

3) Also, who will be the next big sitcom super-star like Ray Romano or Jerry Seinfeld? NEITHER

4) I would love to see an Arrested Development movie. Will it be good? Hope so.

5) What is the next SNL recurring character that will be turned into a feature film? NOT GILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6) Colbert will fly to Haiti. Perhaps run for the Haitian presidency.

7) Which of these proposed projects will be great and which will not?
Louie C.K.’s Louie? - LOUIS CK IS PERFECT. I will punch anyone who says otherwise.
The Kids in the Hall’s Death Comes To Town? Dan will love it no matter what.
Ghostbusters 3? No, thank you.

8 ) I hope 2010 is a good year for the little guys*, the good guys* and the Comedy Nerds!

I predict a favorable review of "Date Night" with Carrell and Fey. I want to see Ed Helms from "The Office" and "The Hangover" do well (Andy Bernard is now a break-out star). Conan will switch channels and kick everybody's ass. Kristen Wiig will leave SNL and they might actually utilize Abby Elliot (whose impersonations have been spot-on--although I wonder if she feels bad about the Britney Murphy one?). Wiig's "Doo-neice"character would make for a funny film (although most characters can't sustain an entire film). I'm also hoping that Swardsson's show will be good. Finally, I hope the world gets to see the comedic stylings of a one Dustin D' Addato (and that he'll need an upstate New York joke writer).

1)Come January 2011, what will the late night comedy landscape look like?

Where will Conan be?
- In Latin America paying a man who knows a man who can kill three men.
Or possibly at Fox, when he's not at home swimming through his vault full of money.

Where will Leno be?
- Lying in a shallow grave in Venezuela next to Dick Ebersol and Jeff Zucker. Or Leno will be elected king of mediocrity, his reward will be a lifetime supply of KFC Bowls (Presented by Patton Oswalt). He'll be on at 11:30 unless the new ownership at NBC (comcast) has some sense and fires the hell out of Zucker, which could happen.

Will there be any other changes coming?
- I will watch even less of NBC than I already do.

2) Last year saw the ascent of Zach Galifianakis? Which on the verge comic will achieve superstardom this year?
- Hopefully someone I know, but more likely Louis C.K. and Maria Bamford (depending on your definition of "super" stardom of course). Also Donald Glover, especially if Mystery team gets picked up by a major distributor.

3) Also, who will be the next big sitcom super-star like Ray Romano or Jerry Seinfeld?
- Hopefully Louis C.K., but more likely Emilio Estevez will join the cast of the redubbed "Three Men and an emotionally unhinged Charlie Sheen."

And here are a few names for you:

Paul F Thompkins?
- Everyone loves him except Vh1. He's amazing live. You have to figure something huge will come along for him in time.

Greg Fitzsimmons?
- I don't know, I was supposed to feature for him this past April but then his schedule changed so I'm bitter. But he's great.

John Oliver?
- His Stand-up show probably won't see three seasons, but he'll have roles in movies soon? I don't know, my guess is that the national infatuation in stand-up is probably going to see its own recession soon. You'll know the moment has come when they release a romantic action-comedy about a Stand-Up Vampiredian.

Maria Bamford?
- Her time has come, everyone loves her, when people talk about her they always say she's pushing the art form forward. She got a national ad in Target... I assume some directer is a big fan of her and will cast her in a movie. In fact she'll probably replace Todd Barry in "The Wrestler II: Tokyo Drift."

Doug Benson?
- More clever pot jokes! Hurray! His market value will rise even further as long as Marijuana legalization stays an issue.

Rob Huebel?
- Children's Hospital has been picked up for Adult Swim, so he'll have that and probably some small movie rolls?

Nick Kroll?
- Will the world ever tire of his special brand of acting flamboyantly gay? I think not.

4) Will there be an Arrested Development movie? If so, will it be a good idea, or should that have left it alone?
- I'd like to think that it will come out in 2011 or 12 and be amazing, and in the same way that the series lampooned television tropes it will lampoon movie tropes, including large explosions and jokes about how everything is much much more expensive and shiny looking than they remember. Also look forward to a joke about a new Charlies Angel movie, and then Job or Lindsay will say something about how lame it is that Hollywood has completely run out of ideas and so they have to cannibalize defunct TV shows.

5) What is the next SNL recurring character that will be turned into a feature film?
- Probably a Kristen Wiig character, just hopefully not Gilly. Oh look, you mentioned Gilly, yeah she's godawful. Hopefully Keenan's Deandre Cole. I would watch a "What's up With That?" movie. For exactly three and a half minutes.

Please say Gilly!
- No. No no no no no. I hope her character dies onscreen.

6) What will Colbert’s next big publicity stunt be?
- Not sure but it'll definitely involve the midterm elections. Maybe a high profile attempt to bribe/lobby politicians on behalf of insurance companies?

7) Which of these proposed projects will be great and which will not?
Louie C.K.’s Louie?
- Well, you know what they say: 2nd time's a charm.

The Kids in the Hall’s Death Comes To Town?
- Colossal niche hit.

Ghostbusters 3?
- Probably terrible and full of fan service. Maybe aliens and a magic refrigerator. Whatever happens, Bill Murray will still walk away unscathed. He will never not be awesome.

8 ) What other big events do you see coming down the comedy pipeline for 2010?

- Senator Robert Byrd will quit politics to finally pursue his dream of becoming a freestyle Hip-hop Comedian, making his debut on Def Comedy Jam. Then in an act of subtle racism he will outlive his entire audience.

- Sinbad, Mark Curry and Martin Lawrence will make a movie about aging stand-up comedians called "Funny People of Color." It will not resurrect their careers.

- On the eve of the midterm election Jon Stewart will eat the head off a live pundit on national TV. It'll be great.

Oh I forgot to mention that the reason Conan lost his slot is because Andy Richter was involved. That guy may be funny but his touch is comedy poison.

Question 1) Leno will be back at 11:30. Conan will be off the air for a year at least but he'll probably do guest appearances on other shows and maybe do some fun internet stuff. Revision3 offered him an online show. The rest of Late Night will stay the same with hopefully Fallon getting more acknowledgement. I enjoy his goofy exuberance and the Roots are great, too. The Monty Python episode of the Jimmy Fallon thing was awesome.

2) I agree with Brad. I see Aziz continuing to get bigger. Any of the regular guests on Comedy DeathRay could be break out stars.

3) Paul F Thompkins? - Too weird and affected to be a super star
Greg Fitzsimmons? - no idea
John Oliver? - Very possibly if he can find an outlet for that over the top english thing.
Maria Bamford? - People think she's funny but I think she acts like an andriod.
Doug Benson? - Pot is getting legal and is always funny to talk about but still too fringy.
Rob Huebel? - Will Aziz help him out?
Nick Kroll? - Maybe if the League gets picked up again and gets more attention.

4) i thought it was a done deal. It will be typical of something that happens years later than it should have. Like the 1st Kids in the Hall movie. It will be hilarious to die hard fans and slightly a let down to others. Hopefully it blow my predictions away and be awesome. If it ever happens.

5) I think Keenan's ultra gay Deep House Dish VJ should get a movie because I want to see hours on end of him say "Br'okay" and "mind yo br'izzness" and other "briz-isms"

6) Colbert will really run for some high political office and win.

7) Louie CK. Liked the 1st show on HBO but his comedy is too in your face for your average joe. He's pretty nasty about relationships and stuff in general.
- Kids in Hall Movie 2. 10 years too late. It will be funny to hard core fans but weird to others. Wait I said this already.
Ghostbusters three. see above. No wait... it will be not good.

8) Loureads.com will become a huge hit. No one will see it coming but its coming. Pootie Tang 2 will be amazing.

Question 1) Leno will be back at 11:30. Conan will be off the air for a year at least but he’ll probably do guest appearances on other shows and maybe do some fun internet stuff.

– Too weird and affected to be a super star
Greg Fitzsimmons? – no idea
John Oliver? – Very possibly if he can find an outlet for that over the top english thing.
Maria Bamford? – People think she’s funny but I think she acts like an andriod.
Doug Benson? – Pot is getting legal and is always funny to talk about but still too fringy.
Rob Huebel? – Will Aziz help him out?

I see Aziz Ansari and Joel McHale getting even bigger... I wonder if bibiglia will do anything that's non-stand up... also I would love if the characters from Dick in a Box and Mother-Lover had a movie.. I never said it would be good, but still.. excited for Nick Swardson show and season two of Important Things with Demetri Martin.. I didn't know Comedy Central was aware tv shows can have multiple seasons
