The Cost of Comedy Snobbery

by The Comedy Nerds on November 29, 2009

Comedy SnobberyWhen you run a podcast/website called The Comedy Nerds it’s hard not be considered a comedy snob.  Yeah, so what?  So we watch comedy with our pinkies out wearing Polo sweaters and eating little sandwich triangles.

But it’s not all rainbows and judging Two & A Half Men.  Is there a cost to comedy snobbery?  How does it effect comedy watchers?  How does it effect comedians?  Is it better to just go along with least common denominator comedy?  Who doesn’t want to watch a sketch called Farty McGee Goes to College?

See. Everyone wants to see Farty McGee. There is surprisingly very little on youtube with that name. It’s a gold mind people. Get on it.
