KevinOnce upon a time…no…There once was a man from Nantucket… no…. Storytelling is hard.  On this week’s episode we look at what it takes to tell a good comedy story.  What’s the difference between a good stand-up bit and storytelling?  What’s important to good story?  Is this the next evolution in comedy?

To help us figure it all out is host of the storytelling show Risk! and member of the historic sketch comedy group The State, Kevin Allison.  He shares his expertise as well as a bunch of hilarious behind the scenes stories of The State.  You should be sure to check out his podcast for Risk! on iTunes here and see the show when it returns in January to Joe’s Pub, until then check out the website here for details.
