The Most Important Sketch Show of All Time

by The Comedy Nerds on June 19, 2009

Fresh outta Sketchfest NYC we got to thinkin’ about how important sketch comedy is.  It makes us laugh.  It makes us think.  It makes us…maybe, love.  (Hey, you never know)  Okay, so it’s not like the most important thing but it’s fun.  So this week we decide which of the life changing, orphan saving, polio curing sketch comedy shows out there is the most important.  What sketch show could we simply not live without? Take a listen and then tell us what you think.

I saw a rerun of The State on Comedy Central at about one in the morning on a Friday night. It was just before Michael and Micahael debuted the following week, everything on comedy central that night was somehow Michael Ian Black or Showalter related. I have not seen any reruns since.
