Shove This Up Your Mind

by Dan McInerney on April 1, 2009

The Onion’s A.V. Club once again does a great service to mankind with this dissertation on one of the greatest movies ever made:

Kids In The Hall: Brain Candy

On a related note, as a comedy nerd it is upsetting when you see a movie you haven’t seen in a while and discover you’ve been quoting it wrong. For years, I’ve walked around quoting Cancer Boy as “Did you see? Did you see the doctor and me? Did you see? Everyday’s a gift.” If you watch the clip over A.V. Club, you’ll see that’s not quite right. Pretty close, I’m usually even more off, but still. Oh fallible human memory! You have deceived me once again!

P.S. I think I like my version better but shhhhh… Wouldn’t want to upset any of the Kids. If they found out I said that, I’d never hear the end of it.
